This is going to be quick post. The winds are blowing very hard here, and it keeps knocking out my power. A few weeks ago, when my power went out, it took my computer with it, so I want to unplug it before I have to get it fixed again!
Today is Friday, so time for Favorite Ingredients Friday over at Overwhelmed With Joy. If you would like to add a recipe of your own, or see other like this, please stop by!
Overwhelmed must have posted her recipe just for me today, because I would have to say that chocolate is my favorite ingredient! Since I am a firm believer in the "you can never have too much chocolate" theory, I decided that I will also add a chocolate recipe, in addition to a main dish. Two for the price of one! Lucky!
Another of my most favorite ingredients to cook with is garlic. I use garlic in almost everything. Here is one of my favorite recipes using garlic...
Orange Honey Garlic Chicken
1/2 tsp paprika
To Make Marinade:
Combine the soy sauce, honey, orange juice, garlic, oregano, pepper and paprika. Mix all together and pour over chicken pieces. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F .
Remove chicken from refrigerator. Place chicken and marinade in a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake, uncovered, in preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours. Baste once.
